From One Truck
to a Trusted Name
Richard Mixon started Alabama Cooling and Heating in 1988 with one goal — give Talladega homeowners an HVAC company they could actually trust. Too many people were getting oversold on equipment they didn't need or waiting days for a technician to show up.
So Richard did the opposite. He showed up on time. He explained the problem clearly. He charged fairly for the work — even when an honest answer meant a smaller invoice. Word spread. One job became two. Two became hundreds.
Today, more than three decades later, that same standard runs every truck on the road. We're still local. We're still family-operated. And we still answer the phone when it rings.
